My poem

I knew this would happen, the distance between posts would gradually increase. I have something to post now though. Here it is.

Thoughtless

Poets are like sponges
So full and complete
Dripping,
Soaking,
Overflowing,
With ideas

I once felt like that
My mind like foam
Full of plans
Already dripping out

It's a shame I could not
Contain them on paper
With pencil or pen
Now lost forever
Never to be thought of again

And now English class like fists
Twisting,
Wringing,
Tearing,
My thoughts out of my head

They're gone

And I have one more poem to go……

Thomas M. Oost

That was written as my last of 3 poems I left to the last minute yet again. I'm going to try not to let that happen with my short story I have to write.... Aunt Michele???

This past while has been great I've been having a pretty good time at work, school, and home. No new projects to talk about. I spent the long weekend up at the Van A's cottage playing survivor games and reading books. Thats all for now folks...

wow, tom. that is an amazing poem. really.

and i think your short story should be about survivor games at the van a's gone wrong... don seems to think they get pretty competitive.

throw in a "coming of age" angle and you've got an A.

You could be a writer! You should write love poems for your snowmobiles!!

Hey thomas, that poem was really good. Also, I had about a billion tons of fun playing survivor with you. The image of you blindfolded wandering around in the burr bush still makes me chuckle out loud. :)
