Thanks aunt linda, I was sitting here waiting for nick and now I have something to do/write about. After 3 weeks of being sick of KD and other mostly instant meals I decided I was going to build a pizza, and you do build pizzas, you dont make them. After school nick and I made a trip to our local supermarket to pick up some supplies. Once we aquired all of the dressings like ham, pepperoni, pesto, tomatoes, and cheese we went to the bakery to see if they had any dough or pre made crusts. Turns out they dont know their store as well as I do because after asking a young gentleman and geting a "I guess we dont have those" I turned around and there, sitting on a rack was a "Pizza Starter Kit" we got the crusts and headed home! When we got home we were greeted by the dog lucky, then we dropped the grocery bags on the counter, washed up, and got into our pizza making gear. This is how we made the pizza:

1. Apply a thin layer of pesto to a crust
2. Slice tomatoes SUPER thin and apply like sauce, covering the whole crust
3. Apply toppings of your choice, we had onions, ham, pepperoni, and of course cheese
4. Add some more cheese
5. Then cook for 15 minutes at 400.

Thats all, the pizza turned out as expected, it was delicious. The one thing I would have changed would have been the ammount of cheese, there was a little too much.

I must say, I've dropped the ball a little bit. But for all of you faithfull blog readers out there I have a funny story for you.

At work we are doing some major renovations. These involve moving the parts department from one end of the building to the other and since I am the lowest man on the totem pole I get to quit my job as a mechanic for a couple of days to move parts shelves and parts around. I was working with another guy at work moving the first shelves around and all went well. Nearing the end of the day on thursday we started to tackle the second row of shelves. We managed to get two sections up before it was time to go. Friday the guy I was working with was going to show up at noon which was perfectly ok because it wasn't really a 2 person job anyway. I continued moving product and shelves up untill about quarter to 10. I was dismantaling the second last shelf in the row we were working in. As I was taking the last corner out of the clip I looked up to see that the shelf that was loaded twice as high as the previous was twisting under the weight. I quickly dropped my hammer and the last shelf to jump up and try to prevent the waterfall of lawnmower blades. This shelf weighed at least 1000 lbs. So needless to say even with my handsom upper body with its seemingly endless supply of power pushed but to no avail. This shelving unit falling on the unit a mear 36" away caused that one to fall against the next one which seconds later collided with the next which fell hitting the wall/floor/stairway/doorway/old shipping and recieving desk. I know pictures were taken of this unfortunate event so I will try to round some of them up.

Just recently my friend and I bought a car. It came from MPI and it had some front end damage. We brought it home and started taking it apart and then sent it off to a frame shop to get pulled straight. Its a Chevrolet Malibu, its at the paint shop now and soon it will be up for sale. We're hoping to make some money on it, here's some pictures.Here are some pictures of a car that we've been working on for about a year now. We just got a parts car and I was able to start it up and take it for a spin. I must say I got some of the weirdest looks driving around without a hood fenders and a bumper.

A Goal

As early as I can remember there was canadian tire and as long as I can remember I liked going there and collecting canadian tire money. I always thought it would be cool to buy something big there with canadian tire money only. That is my new goal to save up in canadian tire money to buy a little tractor. In my experiance with working on them I relize they really arnt that good but it would still be awesome to say that I bought a tractor with canadian tire money. . . so if you have some lying around that your not going to use. . . donations gladly accepted!

This past while has been great I've been having a pretty good time at work, school, and home. No new projects to talk about. I spent the long weekend up at the Van A's cottage playing survivor games and reading books. Thats all for now folks...

Trips

March has been a blur... It started off with a full week of school I didnt care that much, I was still in the routine so it was alright. My first trip was made up of going to Bloomington Minnisota ( just on the outskirts of Miniapolis/St Paul) for a toro training school we learned about a Toro Dingo its like a mini skid steer'r there's a picture of it, I dont really know where it is going to show up. I came back for 2 days which were occupied by school and then it was off to Calvin Christian Collegiate to board the busses for the 36 hour trek down to Mexico. Mexico was awesome!! It was so much fun I went down there to work and build houses which I did but it didnt seem like it at all. The family's were so appreciative. Some highlights were the bus ride, although it was 36 hours it didnt feel like it the sandstorm that happened the day we left. Tents broken stuff blown away a few of us rescuing another group because they fell behind. That was fun, one of the only times I think Ill ever get to tell my teachers what to do. The hotel on the way back was really nice, a shower and a good bed to sleep on and six flags was pretty awesome too! After Mexico I came back for about a week which was my sping break and then I went off to ontario for my cousin Larissa's wedding. I ended up seeing some friends family and I bought a digital camera that I'm pretty excited about. There's a picture in here some where of that to. That pretty much concludes my march of awesomness

An annoyance

So lately Ive been going to bed on time like around 10:00 sometimes 10:30 and waking up at like 6:30 or 7:00 almost an hour before I have to get up. For the last two nights I went to bed at 11:00 or later and I still woke up at 7:00 thats a whole 40 minutes of sleep that I could have used! Sucky......

Anyways thats really all. Mexico missions trip in 10 days and work trip thinngy in 3! A full report on both will be released upon my return.

School/Work

So, I started a new semester on monday, 4 courses I'm taking a math 2 english's and a bible. I'm kind of making up for my awesome semester last semester. It sucks, its not to bad now, I havent had homework yet but I know its coming. One of my teachers said, "oh, since we have such a small class I can keep up with the marking so I will be giving lots of homework. And remember homework is not there to make your life miserable, its to make you the best student you can be!" I can tell you for a fact, it makes my life miserable so I came up with a plan. Since I need 2 english's I'm going to switch to a different one offered at the same time.

This new semester also got me thinking, all I'm doing now is waking up, eating my cheerios, going somewhere I really dont want to be, coming home, do homework, go to bed and do it all over the next day. It all seems so pointless..... at least last semester I had something to look forward to at lunch, going to work to do something I love!

Well, I thought I'd add a 1980 ish skidoo blizzard 7500+ to my list that I aquired on saturday. It is a parts sled but I think I'll use it to build one more good one out of all of my parts. I went to get a 20 dollar part to complete one of my other ones and ended up getting most of a sled. It was pretty awesome.

I think that these are all of them, most of them at least. I've never really took the time to add all of them up, It does look like a pretty impressive list. Right now I'm working on the 1980 Motoski and getting it done for "guest's" to ride, the elan is gone now, I finished that one the first snowfall we had and got a pretty good buck for it. It had to have been the most unique. My friend and I floated it off of an island in the middle of summer and then it got shipped out to winnipeg, taken a part and pretty much all rebuilt in a basement while our shop was being built. I'm hoping to have my Motoski done in like 2 or 3 weeks....I cant wait!

Ok, so I'm really starting to suck at this, its been over a month and my last post was kinda ify and this one isn't going to be all that much better. In fact I have nothing to talk about really.... I mean not that you already know. I had a wonderful christmas and christmas break with lots of food, family and sledding. The start of school really sucked. The first week felt like 4 weeks long even though it was shorter because of the school cancelation because it was like -48 or so. It was a good day. I like cold. that was a little to cold though. I just came back from postmas, it was pretty fun, we had chili, marcel and his girls were there, so yeah, thats about all I have to say, and I'll try to keep this up a little better.

Christmas Party

And so the feasting begins! On saturday I set off to the huge thriving town of Baulder Manitoba, it consists of a body shop, hardware store, hotel, and I think there might of even been a hospital... oh and a post office. It was for our christmas party for work, several years back one of my bosses transformed his parents cow barn into a hunting lodge and thats where I spent my saturday night with my colegues. It was a good time, I got alot of laughs out of people pulling jokes on other people, people acting a little "different" than normal, and seeing my other boss kinda sorta drunk. I really dont see the point! like really why would you want to get so drunk that you wouldant even wake up after falling off a stool? Anyways, the food was really really good and I had a good time talking about stuff other than work. I'll see how much everyone remembers on Monday.....

I love day 1's at school, Its the day when I have one class in the morning and one class in the afternoon. It would really suck if I didnt have a car because then I couldant come home like I am now. I'll remember my little friends working there little butts off in class while I sit here drinking my coffee, eating my egg bagel, and typing this post.

So I found out Xavier Rudd is not on tuesday, I dont really know when it is. I think its on Friday but then again it could be on Thursday. That sucks... But I'll still get to go. The Grey Cup was prety alright, not super awesome I mean it was about as good as a football game can be to a no football player/watcher/fan... But I saw one of my works tractors pulling out the main stage for that nelly furtado or what ever her name is..... she kinda sucks. I know Xavier will be better...

So I was going to go to Ontario not this weekend but the next one and I found out that thats when our christmas party for work is. That kinda sucked cause like I was ready to book the flight and was getting all excited too. I think I'll go and spend new years there that would be pretty fun.

It's been running through my head alot lately, I dont know why but it's crazy that we moved from ontario coming up on like 4 years now and we just fit right in. I think were pretty likeable people but to just get up and leave and fit in like we did. We go to an aweosome church with lots of awesome people, have a nice house in an perfect location with a nice toy barn, both Nick and I have girlfriends, and we actually see our cousins and aunts and uncles. I couldan't ask for more! I really couldan't.

Xavier Rudd!!! just seven days untill I get to go to see Xavier Rudd at the convension centre! Man I'm so excited! First on sunday I get to go to the grey cup with my cousin Eric and then just two days later I get to go to see Xavier Rudd. Next week is going to be great! Now if there was only snow on wednesday I could go for my first real snowmobile ride!

I dont know but I think most of you faithfull readers out there know that I have like 5 sleds, and now its snowing! I'm super excited! I'm selling one of them and am getting a bigger one hopefully soon, oh man I cant wait! Sledding has to be one of the best winter activities. I really have nothing to say, this is just a little update blog so that I dont get all of you hounding me for something new to read. Schools going alright, really well actually, I have the highest marks I've had in a long long time. That could have something to do with the fact that I only have 2 classes but I like to think I'm working really hard. Thats it.

Fruit

I went to see Fruit the band with Becky on saturday night Oh man! that was awesome! Really good guitar and awesome singing, like harmonies and stuff, and by far the best trumpet/ horns player I have ever heard! It was all in all a good night. I kinda worried about my truck getting stolen/towed cause I was parked in a 7 11 parking lot but I went in and bought a pack of gum so I was actually a 7 11 customer, and my wheels were turned so they couldant tow me from the back. Getting there was also a little bit stressful.... you cant turn left on portage from main... apparently everyone knows that... I do now too! So Beckyu got us there, she had some pretty alright directions she only tried to send me down a one way street the wrong way twice but we got there!

Well I've been told its been to long..... yeah, it has. I rearanged some of my classes this week so now I'm out of that building I hate so much at noon. Then I go to work...that building I love so much! I dislike school alot. I dont think its the classes or my teachers, its just being couped up in the same building all day with the same people year after year. When I moved to that school in grade 10 it was pretty fun, then in Gr 11 the fun factor went down and in Gr 12 there is no fun factor anymore. I like my classes Math and History of western Civilization. History is something I will never use but my teacher is really good and we are suposedly making a text book as our project for the year. One of the benifits of grade 12. In math right now were learning about tax deductions on our pay cheques, pay periods, and loans and stuff, Its really actually quite fun/somewhat interesting. One of the biggest problems I have with school is the teachers are so blind! In my history class we have 5 people....yeah I know its pretty bad! But you would THINK that the teacher would have a bit of a hold on the annoying kid in the class! Theres this one guy named Brandon and he is CONSTANTLY hitting my knuckles (kinda hard) with his pencils and writing stuff on my papers aswell as poking me with his NEW mechanical pencil. (I say new cause I'm pretty sure I broke all of his traditional ones cause he was bugging me so much.) He thinks Im not going to break this one!!!? Yeah right! oh man! the second I get a chance! As a result of breaking all of his pencils evereone thinks I have a little anger problem....Put yourself in my stinkin' shoes! Its kind of to bad he was good today......Im looking forward to breaking it cause its a pretty nice one, like with all of the gadgets on it.....It should be pretty fun! Well now that I sound like a sucky baby... I'll go now!

Its awesome, I love it seeing my grandparents again for the first time in 1 or 2 years, catching up with my cousins, and hearing stories from way back when. It's getting harder. Math, one of my least favorite subjects has begun and I am reminded every day at 2:05 why I still don't like it. I'm starting to miss the lessons on how to turn on and off my calculator. We all wrote a paragraph on why math was such an important life skill and I do understand why it is and everything. But why do I need to learn the equation and how to graph a porabola? It dosen't make very much sense to me.
During my spare today I went to cash converters with my 2 friends and purchased a record player for $5.00. How can you go wrong for 5 bucks! I was pretty excited. When I got home I hooked it all up and listened to Elton John Good Bye Yellow Brick Road, The Best Of Bread, The Doobie Brothers, Survivor, and Simon and Garfunkle. It was an awesome night! I can't wait to get some more vinal! The best part is it's cheep! $1.00 a record! and its still awesome music, it sounds good and theres lots on a record. I'm looking forward to doing it tomorrow again!

Youth

Now that school has started so has youth at GNF. Its always been fun and this year I'm sure is not going to be an exception especially now that my little cousin Joey is there. I had my first youth with Joey playing games and it was awesome!
I got to take the car to school today, my mom didn't need it so I took it and actually did something fun during my spare. My friend Richard and I went to Value Village and I found some sega genisis games for Tim my cousin and got some sweet records! Now I just need a turn table to listen to them. Thats it!

1st day back

It's back to school....again. And for the 12th time I'm not enjoying it. I have to admit, the first day was almost fun. I woke up later than usual because I didn't have to go to work, then I got there had the front seat in our car, I found out I had a spare 3rd period which is always fun. Then the day actually started I got my locker, lock, got assigned lunch rooms and all that stuff (because at my little tiny private school we don't have a caf). Then we settled in for our first little assembly and went to lunch. During lunch me and two friends went for a walk and saw a tipped over garbage can. We tipped it up and put the garbage back in it and a guy from DairyQueen saw us and gave us each a free ice cream sandwich. It was awesome! After that I had my spare.........that was boring! absolutley nothing to do..............at all! The period after that I had one of the most dry math classes of my life. We learned how to use a calculator! Awesome day wasn't it!

I tried to blog about 2 weeks ago but something on here was screwed up so I lost my whole post. I was not impressed. Its happened. It really has Becky has finally agreed! Its been something like a year and a couple months of me asking questions but it really was worth every minute! And that sounds pretty sappy but anyways! Different topic. Me and my brother got a truck last week at the MPI auction. It's nothing special just a little winter beater I don't know how were really going to share it this winter though. Nick will be going to work and I will be going to school which really are not that close together! I'm pretty sure we'll figure it out though. He has to be by far one of the best brothers in the world! Just a little 4 wheeler update for those of you who care, which are none but anyways, I painted the whole thing and put it all back together and got some new tires for it and it looks sweet!

The Long Weekend

I had a really good week this week, I got to do some new different stuff at work. Then on Friday almost everyone took off early so we just had a nice afternoon. And on Friday night I went up to a friends cottage for a night. I love it up there, we got to see a thunder storm roll in sitting on the beach trying to keep warm. Then on sunday I went to church, out for lunch, came home, took apart my 4-wheeler, and then had a camp fire. Finally on the last day of my weekend I got up at 10:00 and my awesome mother made breakfast! And then I went outside to the shop and worked on my 4-wheeler some more. All in all a great week end!

Its been 10 days. It's hard to believe that it went so fast. I'm working full time for the summer and I like my job, sometimes I think that it is a bad thing the days fly by so fast, the weeks even faster it's like it's just one saturday after another and when all of the saturdays are done comes the long "years" of school. I have a cousin that can not wait to get back to school. He's one of those guys that can just get 100% without trying. It really bugs me because I have to work my butt off just to get the 80's or so that I do. Maybe if I looked forward to school this year I could do better. I think that that will be my goal for this year just one year left, at least I can do is make the best of it!

Confusion...

Well, I'm back again. It's been like a whole 3 days or something. That's one thing that I can never figure out. Do I count the day I bloged last? cause then it would be 4 days but theres 3 days not counting that day and there's just 2 days in between the 17th and the 20th anyways. At work today a customer from the city of Winnipeg came in and gave us each a hand full of fire crackers to throw at this one guy. It was a pretty good day with these little mini explosions going off under tractors and puting them in water bottles and screwing the caps on. All in all a great day! It was however quite hot! I called my friend in Ontario today and it looks like my little business I want to start is going to take off! Oh man I can't wait!

I'm sitting in front of this computer again. I have alot lately, talking to friends, answering emails, and now I want to start my own buisness so I'm researching that and it's all pretty fun but then I go to leave and relize that I really don't have anything else to do so I just come back and read old email's and look at the same websites over and over again. Its all pretty fun. But it's really not good, I should really get a life or another project to work on or something! And now Chelsea is in Ontario and Nick is out with his girl friend so its pretty boring here at the moment. It's not that I really play with them or anything but when there around there's always another conversation to listenn to, or they have the T.V on and I can glance over and watch that for a little bit while I figure out what else to write or what web site to visit for the fifth time.

Well, I have entered the world of Blogging. It was somewhat influenced by something way inside. I know that I will probably not blog a whole lot, It will wear off really quickly and I may not get any comments for the first bit but thats all part of my plan! muahahaha! I have to figure this whole thing out. The one thing that I really don't like is how to change colours on here. I had a nice plain looking blog I really liked and spent about half an hour trying to change the colour of the background and I still haven't figured it out. Maybe it is just me........it could be. People think I am smart like that but now I can even come up with the word! (technologically inclined?) Well its late and I can't type and I am going to go now...............
